I lived most of my life in Indiana, except for 3 years in Michigan. We had 5 children and lots of good ol' days (sheep, goats, dogs, cats, chickens, apple trees, grapevines, strawberry patch), and then we moved to Texas. For several months we lived in the same state with all the children and grandchildren, and even going to the same church. What more can you ask?
Now we're getting ready to go to Israel. I don't know how long we'll be there. I suppose there might come a time when I'll look back on the years in Israel and say "Those were the good ol' days."
I like music, plants, antelope, and language/s.
One obvious solution is...on the sidewalk. This one's been here for so long it turned to stone. Really! It is solid stone! Any guesses as to what kind of car it is? I like the stones behind it too. First the natural stone, and then the ones put above it. I don't know what the thing is that looks like a window--whether it had some purpose or whether someone was being funny. Pretty funny, either way.
I was lucky to get a picture before it was done blooming. It is now a whole promenade of vines on trellises. I'll have to get another picture from underneath.
That is SO funny! I was thinking I'd be original commenting how beautiful the wisteria is---ahh! Got beat, LOL! Wisteria is one of my favorite flower bushes :) the stones behind the car are cool and I think it's a frame around some rocks, maybe like a picture. imaginations can go wild wondering what these people thought of when they were putting it altogether. it'll be nice to see the full bloom, too! thanks for posting, as always. luv in Him <><cj
I have to say that is one of the most creative statues I have seen!
ReplyDeleteAnd that yellow blooming tree is impressive--I've never seen anything like it before.
If you have a daycare center next door, do you hear kids shouting and playing often?
That wisteria is sooo pretty!
ReplyDeleteI don't hear the kids much. They're not very loud, and there's a vacant lot between us and them.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that wisteria!! Wow, reminds me of that tree in Indiana that was taken over with a wisteria vine.
