Still in Texas. An easy life. Hard to stay focused. N and E quickly learned a Hebrew alphabet song.

Now it looks like I'll be staying here a while for my foot to heal. It's doing fairly well except for swelling. The inactivity has increased my RLS. It's especially bad if I sleep too much or take a nap late in the day.

Texas sky. You can see a lot of it, especially when you are far from the big city. So many colors at once. Varied cloud formations. Wish I were a good photographer or even a good writer so I could describe them.

Thunder. Maybe I should try to find some recordings of thunder to play on gloomy days.

Arrived in Texas for visit. Stayed for two weeks with Mercy. Went to zoo with Caleb and family. On September 12 had surgery on my left foot.
